Hey guys,

In the past I've been to specific. I'll just give a few must haves and that'll be it

.

Looking for the best gaming sound card, money isn't a issue.

The absolute best sound positioning, most important by far.

Dedicated high quality headphone port (separate from 5.1 and everything)

Works with Windows Vista.

Also has to work with my dads 5.1 system, but quality etc doesn't matter one bit (he agreed!)

Thank you ever so much, you guys are the real experts, amazing!

Auzen Prelude.

what do you mean by separate headphone port? do you mean a front bay drive? You'd have to get a creative card for that and the front bay drives are never as good as the card... and the creative cards are lacking.

The Prelude is on par with a modded creative x-fi and gives you the ability to roll op-amps.
