So my lovely rosewood lcd-2s arrived today, but unfortunately I mixed up the left and right cables.  I thought, no problem right?  So I went to switch them, and the left ear cable popped out just fine.  Then I went to the right side, pushed down on the release mechanism the mini xlr cable began to pop out but got stuck after about 1cm.  
 
Music sounds fine, and everything works... but I would like to fix this.

This has been resolved.  Just took a lot of finger strength. Don't be afraid to tug on it I guess.
