I listen pretty much exclusively to classical music and mostly use Flac files on my iAudio X5L. Though, I have thought about using Ogg for some of my files, for the smaller file size. I am wondering what kinds of differences would be heard using Ogg q7 level compared to Flac? Would the artifacts be very pronounced?

Actually run around the HydrogenAudio forums. Vorbis has previously gotten in the most trouble with Classical music. Things may have gotten past this point, but it's something to be aware of.
