Thanks Aaron. I guess you could say UE has been good to me over the last few years.

the meet is one month from today. time goes by fast.

i plan to bring:

Meridian G08
RSA Apache
some balanced cans (not sure which ones yet)

and then i am supposed to pick up my HeAudio Stat Amp and EH-1.2B from Fang at the meet, so i will have those as well and will probably bring a separate source for them too - my myryad z110, which despite being a $1200 CD player sees no use.

Only one month to go and this meet seems to have lost all of it's fire and pizzaz from the previous meets. Any enthusiasm out there?

Any volunteering to host the silent auction to help pay for the room? Anyone volunteering any gear or components for the silent auction.

NYC Meets have a reputation to maintain. C'mon.

I'm new to this forum and would love to join the meet. Count me in. Conveniently, I live in NYC.

I've got an Electrostatic All-Triode Direct Drive amp (K. Gilmore design) that I built. Current headphones Stax SR-80 Pro. I'm just building a second with a different power supply and a new case design. I'm hoping it will be done in time.

I'm looking forward to the event!

I'd be happy to run the Silent Auction. I'll bring all that is necessary.

So everyone needs to look through their toys and bring items for the auction. Everyone also needs to come with wallets overflowing with cash* to bid on and win all of these valuable items.

I'm confident that there will be at least one set of high end cables

*Please ignore the rumor that I am an exceptionally skilled pick pocket.

To the uninitiated: "Silent Auction" is a total misnomer.

Looking forward to seeing everyone again and it looks like there will be a number of new faces as well. I will be bringing several examples of S² Audio's offerings as well as a donation for said Silent Auction.

As for gear: laptop source, MiniDAC, balanced Mini³ (built by Nate), balanced DT990/600, balanced custom K701.
