I will try to make it to this meet.

I can bring my Blackie Pagano amp recently modified by Steve Berger. Original Tango Iron replaces James Iron. Also, some filament regulation via a couple of torroidal transformers in the power supply to get rid of an odd "whooshing" sound in the tubes.

Hopefully it works. I'm picking it up tomorrow.

The amp is now at the absolute limit of a pretty tried-and-true design as far as parts and construction are concerned.

Maybe I can bring the Emm stuff as well. But that is a lot of gear... And I'm still not sure I can even make it to the meet...

Will keep you all posted.

I'm tempted to fly up just so I can hear the amp again. John's amp may have been the best 650 amp I heard at the first National in NYC. I can't imagine how it would sound after the upgrades.
