Have you heard this iem?
Listening to it now. So far, the Taurus delivers very fast transients and highs and mids. The highs are not fatiguing. There is a lot of clarity and detail with these headphones.

The sound signature is much flatter, but not flat in a boring way. I have the Satsumas and felt those were flat in a boring way. The Taurus accentuates highs and mids, which adds really nice color. It does good with instruments, male rock vocals, but less so female vocals and bass.

It's surprisingly light for the shell. Holding it in my hand with the Satsuma I can barely feel a difference. It offers good clarity and detail and build quality for its price point.

Also I like the box that it came in. Feels higher quality than some of Campfire's more recent boxes and packages.

I too hope for a new Andromeda, but still predict a new Trifecta of some sort. Perhaps with a slightly different driver or driver combo?

I was hoping you would answer my questions regarding the Axion, but I took the plunge and got it due to its uniqueness. I have an Apple phone, so will this work with an adapter?

Obviously I am not Chris but I believe there should be no reason why, in principle, it would not work with a C to Lightning adapter.

However, and this is a big however, it seems from comments about different dongles and iPhones that the power allowed via the Lightning port differs with different model iPhones or there is something else going on that stops higher power requirement devices from working with some iPhones. I would have thought the Lightning port specs have been standardised from inception but perhaps not.

Before I went to a 15 I had an iPhone X. I used it with an iFi Go Bar with no problem at all, however, there were numerous comments online that folks could not get the Go Bar to work with iPhone 14 in particular and possibly others.

I suspect that if you had a problem with the Axiom on the stock cable it would be an iPhone issue more than a USB-C to Lightning adapter issue.

I used a ddhifi right angle TC28 Lightning to C adapter with numerous devices to good effect. They do one now with a power input side also for situations where the Lightning port power limitations create a problem.

BUT if you have an iPhone 15 or newer it'll have USB C out of the box.

Of course that is correct.

It seemed logical that the chap was asking about a Lightning iPhone since he asked about an adapter for a device that has a USB-C plug.

I kind of worked on the assumption that if he (or anybody else) had a 15 or 16 he would know it had USB-C :relaxed:

I updated from an X to a 15 Pro and it is a very welcome change to have a C equipped iPhone when my audio gear are all C.

That's gonna be a battery drainer.
Just ran these for roughly an hour, battery level reduced 3%.

Same here have always loved the comet/atlas fit.
Fits the same as Comet!

Thanks so much for your order! Should work with a lightning adapter, but does not come with one included. If you run into any issues, definitely let us know and we'll help you out.
