I was at COSTCO this morning. Their Sansa Fuze 8GB are BLACK!

So I am getting rid of my silver fuze.

They were also selling pretty fast.

Once I found out about the proprietary connector, lack of dedicated volume buttons and limited EQ options (not to mention almost no meaningful track info on Now Playing), I decided to go with Cowon d2...(double the cost, more than double the player)

But from what I hear, if all you want is to listen to some tunes and are not wanted to tweak anything, Fuze might just do the trick, especially at these price points. It also has an excellent FM radio with RDS display...

The connector is proprietary, but not expensive. I just got a charging kit (AC adapter with USB socket, Cig lighter plug with USB socket, and the cord) for under $20.

PayPal coupon on toysrus.com is dead...the $64.99 price should be good tomorrow as it is a "doorbuster" deal...too bad my local costco is so far away...

Let us know what you think Tony, I have been wanting to pick one of these up for a long time. Just thought the control might be hard with my huge hands

Plus generation mp3 said it hissed and I have shure e530.

It's been around 140.00 for a while, I was hoping it would hit the 100.00 mark. Not likely though. Fuze and clip seem to be the most discounted daps this year.

I just bought a 16GB Cowon D2 on Ebay for $174.99. With Live.com's 30% cash back and a 10% off coupon from Ebay in my message box the D2 cost a total of $105.00 + $6.99 shipping for a grand total of $111.99.
