I'm planning an office rig for the purpose of improving my work rhythms.
I tend to over-concentrate myself and plunge in very long reading/studying/writing phases (both at the monitor and at the desk with printed documents).
This is far from optimal because I end up with eyes fatigue in the evening.
I already have a very high myopia and the guidelines for that are clear:
I should take a 3-5 minutes break each 20 min. of work.
I tried with software that pop up a warning each 20 min. and it doesn't work
because I tend to....turning it off!
So, my idea is to try a leisure based approach instead than a rule based one.
If I have a music system at the office I could reward taking a break by
listening at medium loudness level.
An headphone rig could turn this ergonomic demand in a effective daily routine.
I would listen mainly at instrumental music (jazz and classical) because
this type of music is more favorable at being switched back as background music
when in a work phase, and then switched in a more immersive experience by raising the volume.

In your opinion, which of the two listed hps would be more amenable for this scenario?
It would be important to have an enjoyable experience at low loudness level.

The hp should be powered by a tube amp, in the range between the Musical Paradise MP301
and the AudioTailor Jade (this is the next choice).

Another criterion for the hp choice would be how it would pair when
powered in parallel with a AKG K701.
The k701 has been bought for a second scenario (the evening one) described in this post:

Addendum:
1) I listed as options only open hps because I want to be able to hear outside sounds, and I'm in a single room office, therefore I don't have to worry about sound leakage from the hp.

2) Speakers are not really an option because I could not turn the volume up to an immersive level without disturbing people in neighbor offices.
