I'm going to try to make it that weekend (75% for sure at this point). I can come by with most of what's in my sig (the portable stuff anyway!), if anyone is interested in it.

Hi eveyone,

I would definitely be interested in attending the meet if there is still room. I just got into headphones this year so as of now I only have a few things I to bring: Grado Sr-60, KSC75, PA2v2, and a 4th Gen. Colour iPod. This would be a great introduction to higher end headphones for someone like myself. If I can get the day off work, and if there is room, then count me in.

I'm curiuos as to music you guys listen to, when testing audio gear?

I think I'm quite deaf, (not deft) when it comes to being an audiophile. I would really like to know what you guys use to listen for the subtle things. I'd like to try it out with the setup I have at home for a while, then hopefully at the meet, I will be able to fully appreciate the small things.

(pity bump)

You should divide up your songs into catagories.
90% of my songs are Japanese so when I do some reviewing and comparison, I divide them up like so:
- Female vocals
- Male vocals
- Deep bass
- Light bass
- Symbals
- High hats
- Detail
- Soundstage (live music; mostly orchestra)

Then put some together and voila.
