After getting my k701s I fell in love with the detail and then I removed the foam on my hd650s and I have to say I don't see myself using the 701s...amazing difference and am kicking myself for not doing it before.

So hd650s are my choice. k701s to me....lack a pair.

I won't say anything that I haven't heard yet, but with the nationals coming this weekend, things are going to change for the better I hope!

Other than the cheap cans that came with inexpensive PCDPs and my Wifes radio 'phones; all I know are my MS-1s.

Now if I'd received them as a gift and never heard of this place; I'd be perfectly happy with them for life, and probably never even consider a different set!!(They match the "sound" of my home speaker system near perfectly!!)

But, since I DO know of this forum, and know that there IS something that sounds the "same" as my MS-1s but only "better", well.....

Of what I have heard, the Grado SR325i, it will be hard for me to part with the phones even in the highly even that I buy a RS2 or RS1 in the future.
