When My FiiO BTR5 is idle but paired I am hearing chuffing sounds in my earphones But not all of the time. These sounds ascend and descend in a very soft 8 note scale. It seems to react when I do something on my iPhone XS Max. If connected it's App I don't hear it as long as the App is open. I can quickly get rid if it for extended periods of time simply by restarting the BTR5. Am I hearing a converstion between the radios on the iPhone, and the BTR5?

You should try asking in the BTR5 thread. There is a FiiO rep that is usually able to help with those sorts of questions.
