Ooops, good spot Mo,

I uploaded the wrong photo. Doh! These are Wind Tips above and below is a photo of the CP100. It's good comparing the CP100 with the Wind tips....at the moment I think my preference is the later tbh. Great tips.

Thank you for the updated clarification.

Phil, looking forward to trying out tomorrow :)

...Puzzled as to if the backplate being wood rather than metal will really be worth £200 - but, sure I'll find out soon enough :)

Puzzled too.....the backplate is wood on all ERIB and EAMT earphones :p
Maybe I got it wrong, but - the 3A and the 3W, if all are wood (knowing that the 3C should be ceramic)... what is the difference??

Edit - PhilW - am sure we'll discuss tomorrow, but - from your own site:

A Wooden ear cup designed model, eamt-3w , and a Precision Ceramic ear cup designed model, eamt-3c to provide a choice for different sound styles.

Confused :D

The driver enclosure changes material between aluminium, wood and ceramic. The back plate however is always wood. :)
ahh, okay... :D

I like wood warmth / tonality...

Am on my way to London and hoping to get a brief look at the whole range when EU jin and I get to you this afternoon @PhilW
What time will you be there? - I'm heading in too :)

Hi Duncan. Lunch at Planet Hollywood 1230-1330, Waterloo station 1400, Custom Cable 1430. You'll recognise me from my SoCam headfi T-shirt and perhaps you know EuJin already
(Sorry for continuing OT, I know I should know better!) - I was planning on arriving a little earlier than that, but - I might delay slightly for an impromptu head-fi meet :D

ah, cool, Will be a fleeting catch up then, knowing I'm commuting, and having seen the size of the box that I'm looking at, need to dodge the rush!
