NYC place (stores) for testing
does anyone know where I can listen to headphones in NYC? I lived in another country and there was a store (doctorhead) where a lot of headphones you can try and see, etc. is there any these stores in NYC with headphones beyerdynamic, akg, rado? I chose a player (QLS QA350 v2) I used to listen to the beyerdynamic 880 sound terrific, but I want to listen to the QLS with 990 and some of the AKG and the GRADO. Please can someone know stores for testing??

I've never been there and they seem to be primarily a photography store but I've read reviews in which their large headphone display was mentioned.
 
I want to go but can't so I'll have to live vicariously through you on this one.

I look at b&h or j&r for the headphones, and lower end amp/dacs, Then there is stereo exchange for the high end amps/dacs and they have a few headphones

also, with b&h if you ask them at the counter they can sometimes let you get some hands on time with products that are in stock but not our for demo, And you can demo the amps and dacs at stereo exchange
