My cat chewed through the charger cord and I need a replacement. The problem is that the replacement costs $22.99! That's 1/3 the price of the player! Is there any alternative?

Just get a mobile phone USB AC Charger, I use the one that came with my Sony Xperia, just plug the USB cable that came with your E474 into the AC charger.

I use my E474 exactly like that, and my other portable amps.
