Hi folks! Recently I've been looking for some headphones with a detachable cord & is collapsable. My search led to the Numark Red Wave DJs and V-MODA Crossfade LP. Any suggestions which ones I should get? I'm also looking for headphones anywhere under $100 if anyone has any other recommendations.

I have never listened to the V-Moda's before, but my friend has the Red Waves and they sound very dark to me. What kind of music do you listen to? If you like bass, the WS-55 and WS-70 are great.

I've tried the V-Moda LP but I've never tried the Red Waves. I liked the LP, but I'm not really an audiophile. From your choices though, it seems like you like more stylish headphones. 
 
so I think for you, you should just pick the one like find more stylish!
 
...or buy the Red Waves b/c the LP isn't actually collapsible. That would be the M100 ($300).

The Creative Aurvana live! Is a great headphone for under $100. You should get those. They have good bass quality and a nice sound-stage.
