Nuforce New Release: HP-800

I just saw this on Twitter XD & since I feel any winds blowing around here so I had decided to post[Sorry if there is already one]
 
So here it is, the first over-ear studio monitoring from Nuforce(from what I had seen) & it market as low as around $150!

Yeah, I've heard them, very nice sound specially for the price, very comfortable, the treble was a little harsh, but the headphone I've heard were brand new

How's the mids? Is it recessed? Sorry XD I'm a huge fan of midrange

No, very neutral across the entire band.

Interest reviews on PC World and Digitaltrends, very different takes on the HP-800.  However, based on the collective info I have about them, I am leaning toward the Digitaltrends review as more accurate.  I will have my pair on Wednesday.

Just put on my HP-800.  Thank you to MacedonianHero and Armaegis for the heads up and reviews on these.  I am having a blast!  I am listening at LOUD levels with bass boost on a FiiO E11 and not picking up distortion, just the bliss of a deep sonic ear massage.  These are the perfect basshead complement to my M-100s.  It's not just the bass I am enjoying.  The mids have good detail and the highs extend nicely with no harshness.  I am also pleasantly surprised by the comfort- one of the most comfortable headphones I have ever worn.  These are keepers.
