Barry Manilow? Dolly Parton? Those guys are awesome. The judge is clearly an arsehat.

I wouldn't so much care about the music as I would the hour lost. I would be too bored doing it. I don't listen to music loudly anyway, but I would just pay the fine.

I wonder if he plays the same song over and over for the hour at loud volumes?

yeah...that's good music. What the people were listening to when they got the noise violation is nothing but bass and profanity. So...thank you judge for exposing delinquents to good music.

the sentence may not seem too bad for me, but to those kids playing rap music, listening to the likes of dolly and barry kills them more than you would imagine!

Thats a pretty weak punishment. A better one would be if they chose one song, cut out 20 or 30 seconds of the chorus, and looped it for an hour. Or, as in an episode of Scrubs, the offenders are made to sit and listen to an all male acapella group sing the Chili's jingle in loop, minus the ending.

Offender: "When do they say barbecue sauce?!"
Judge: "They never say barbecue sauce..."
