But $1100 + 6% tax. Yikes.

So if anyone who was at the meet wants to make me an offer on my Senn HD600 + Cardas Cable and also my Grado 225s, please do. I haven't been using them a lot as it is anyways and although I would like to keep them, it is just nutty to do so.

hey sanjay, I'm really interested in your HD600s, do you think maybe I could have another listen say, at the next meet?

It would be awesome and by then I should have enough to offer too!

I was using the Canon Powershot A620 digicam and the Canon ZR45MC camcorder, by no means anything top of the line. The ZR45MC we got around 4 or 5 years ago for $1k. Today you'll find some pretty good HD camcorders for that price. Anyhow that's just how technology goes.

For editing I use Pinnacle Studio 9.4. I tried using Studio 10, but it was too buggy and weird. Way too unstable for my liking. Went back to 9.4 because I knew it would work. 10 has a good MPEG encoder though. In any case, I wouldn't recommend it. Adobe Premiere, although I haven't tried it extensively, seems promising and I would have preferred going with that program instead of going with Pinnacle. Perhaps I shall try it. The problem is Adobe isn't as intuitive as Pinnacle's, which I picked up very quickly. On the other hand, Adobe Premiere is an Adobe product. If you have Photoshop or any other Adobe product, you know how powerful those programs are. Customer service with Pinnacle is probably one of the worst you'll find anywhere. Forums get absolutely no response from people in the company. FAQs can be okay, but for the most part, if you have a problem, you have to ask the experts on the forums that have some experience with the problems that come with Pinnacle. Plus it's a really inefficient program. It takes up the most memory space I've ever seen a program take. You need a P4 with 3.0GHz and other high demands for it to run smoothly. I'm running Pentium D with 3.0GHz and it runs okay, but mind you it's a program that was made some 3 or 4 years ago. It is a really taxing program on your computer. Not to mention all the newsletters they send. Lots of offers and sales on products. I don't block them in case I might need something from them. Either way, be cool and go with Ulead or Adobe.

Probably more than you wanted to know, but that's just what I felt like telling you =) Live and learn. Learn and live.

Right, Student Group. Uh, I'll get right on it.

You got the 60s. Cool. I'm surprised though. Seeing your join date, I thought you would have gotten them a long time ago. Seems it's everyone's favourite 1st headphone. Glad I could be of help. Where did you get them from?

Yikes is right. My apologies about the wallet. Where did you end up getting them?

I received my RA-1 amp a while after the meet. Matches quite well with the 1000. Don't know if it's burn in or my brain or what, but the bass is more controlled than what I remember, and the treble isn't as splashy if that makes any sense.

Do you have any more impressions?

Thanks for all the work on the pics guys.
