I have all the right boxes ticked in the Preferences section to receive the notifications I want. I do receive e-mails appropriately, but I'm not consistently getting local notifications (little bell, top right of the page).

I have been having this trouble ever since the site did the major update (a couple of months ago?). Sometimes there's a flag on the little bell, sometimes not, which means I need to go into the Watched sub-forum to find new posts in subscribed threads. Anyone know what's up?
