Hi all. I have been using ie8's for some time but even if I like them, their bassy sound is sometimes very tiring. So, I decided I should buy some other iems which have a huge soundstage, detailed-crystal clear sound and enough bass. I listen to every kind of music but mostly rock, pop, blues, metal and trance. Comfort and sturdiness are very important as well. Is it possible to find a very good earphones for these music styles at max $150-200? I think I would be happy with re0's performance but its bass response might not be enough for me. Thanks in advance.

Huge soundstage doesn't exactly scream out RE0. They are detailed and the bass comes alive if you are willing to amp them. I don't know how good the ibasso D2+ amp is but if it is a decent amp the bass can be quite good. The problem with the RE0 is that they are underpowered right out of any of the dap's I used them. However there was a really big difference when paired up with an amp.

The RE0s offer exceptional clarity for only $80, even when running straight out of my iPod Touch.

Yes they have the clarity but if their soundstage is that small then I won't be thinking of them anymore. Isn't there an iem which has nearly big soundstage of ie8's and exceptional clarity of re0's?

For overall clarity, and soundstage - along with a kick at the bottom end, you cannot go wrong with either the Panasonic HJE900 or the JVC FX500

For $204 you can get the Westone 2 at TheGearLab, though they are out of stock until March 4th. Email them for that price.
The W2 sounds exactly like what you are looking for, read the threads on it.

The HJE900 sounds like a pretty good fit for you.

CK-10's for very detailed phones with a good soundstage/awesome seperation. Bass is however still a bit light compared to the ie-8.
