As you can see here in the For Sale and Trade Forums FAQ, you must be a member of Head-Fi for over thirty days, and you must have over fifteen posts on Head-Fi's forums in order to post in the FS/T forum area.

i'm not able to edit profile picture and upload photos. i see we are directed to read our "welcome PM". is there a link to this "welcome PM"? at first i was assuming that it may have been an email but i have searched through my email and not been able to find anything like this. searching through my email history i find my head-fi email verification email on 8/4/12. then the next email from head-fi is a subscription update on 8/30/12. thanks!

As stated at the top of the Feedback and Bug Reports forum:
 

  Can't edit your profile, signature or avatar or create galleries or lists? Due to problems with spam bots, new users will need to have made 10 posts or be a member for 15 days and made 5 posts before they can edit their profile or signature or create lists or galleries.
 

As you've just made your fifth post, @n2stonerdoom, you can now edit your profile and upload images.
