Apparently this place still has NOS (new old stock) AKG K501s for sale.

Retail $199 CDN, $179 CDN after instant discount. 179.00 CAD = 168.207USD as of 1/27/10.

That is not a terrible price considering they sell for $100-170 in good condition on here.

I have not had to pay duties for items ordered from Canadian vendors in the past. Does not mean you won't be assessed fees, but that has been my experience.

If it is back ordered they probably sold out of the stock on hand. There won't be more coming as it is out of production.

You can call them to verify.

I've been in touch with there sales staff - they do not have any in stock and will not in the future.
