I’m new to this. I initially wanted to solder my cable to 2 pins connector but my 2 pin IEM driver broke.

MMCX have 3 “pins” which is to “+” and which is to “-“? Or it doesn’t matter? Will a cable with mic affect the soldering?

Sorry really noobie question here. I tried searching online for wiring instructions but found none. (Except for the female one) I want to solder to the make. Maybe I didn’t look hard enough, would appreciate your help.

Thanks.

I always use a tone tester to map an existing cable as I build a new one. Mark down your notes and also test the connectors to see how they are rigged up. Makes life easy.

Did you get your cable wired up?

Oh, yes, thanks a lot for the information!
It was a painful and frustrating process ... even with flux ...

In the end, dad has to help me as I just keep screwing up... LOL!
Very satisfying though at the end of it!
