noob question

so i have a set of swan m200mkii's and i wanted to add a subwoofer to the mix. however im not sure how that would be possible. im guessing i need an a/v receiver to power the sub. is it possible to power the mkII's with a receiver or would that not work. if not how would i get the audio signal to both the sub and speakers.

You dun need a receiver - get an active sub that has RCA/low level in and out? Feed the signal from source via RCA in on the sub, set crossover frequency then feed RCA out on sub to the Swans
