Do tube-based cdps such as the tjoeb 4000 need a "warm up" time because of their tubes or will they work just as any other cdp?

I think all tubes need some amount of warm up. I might be wrong but probably never change. Why don't you contact Kevin at www.upscaleaudio.com and ask him. He carries the AH! products.
