Hello,

I bought a Modmic 4.0 : http://www.modmic.com/collections/modmic/products/modmic-4-0

But my laptop integrated soundcard emit a lot of background noise when I speak on skype.

That's why I already have a DAC for my headphones : http://www.audiophonics.fr/en/appareils-hifi-dac/audiophonics-usabre-usb-dac-24bit96khz-sa9023es9023-v2-p-8932.html

I guess I should get an analoge / digital converter for my mic,

I found these:
-SOUND BLASTER X-FI GO! PRO: http://fr.creative.com/p/sound-blaster/sound-blaster-x-fi-go-pro
-SOUND BLASTER PLAY! 2: http://us.creative.com/p/sound-blaster/sound-blaster-play-2
-Xonar U3: https://www.asus.com/Sound-Cards/Xonar_U3/
-Audio-Technica ATR2USB: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/889723-REG/Audio_Technica_ATR2USB_3_5mm_to_USB.html

But I'm not sure about their quality, and they all also have an audio output that I don't need since I already have my DAC, but if their audio output is better than my current DAC (I doubt if for the price) I will gladly free a usb port.
I need something very small that I can use on the go, not just on desktop.

Thanks for your attention :)

if its from a laptop try unplugging the battery cable. i know that can cause white nose on mics/headphones :) also adobe audition has a white noise filter :) I'm using that till my ground loop eliminater comes

I recorded the white nose from my mic using Adobe Audition : https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=606F89C0C7333A27!7871&authkey=!ACEn0YjyhljWDRY&ithint=file%2cflac

Doubt it would make a difference. Have you adjusted your mic boost levels?

Yes I put the Mic Boost to 0.0 dB

unplugging the power cable didn't change anything.
How do you remove white nose in real time in Adobe Audition?
