i saw a pair of sony noise cancelling cans at best buy for half price so i thought HMMM why don't i integrate the microphones from the sonys and drive the senn drivers off the sony noise cancelling module for some killer cancelling?
is this a good idea or a s#!++y idea?

don't ruin a perfectly good set of cans to try to hack in crappy active noise cancelling....

just my $.02

but hey, if you were going to throw out the 477s and want to waste money on the sonys, and don't mind being very disappointed, go for it

Isn't the noise cancelling tweaked to meet the specs of the enclosure?
