Hi guys,

Has it been confirmed anywhere that Cowon has stopped making DAPs altogether?

I'm tempted to get a new DAP, even though my Plenue R2 works fine. We're always looking for something new and shiny I guess, right?

Has anyone tried to get in touch with them?

I love the Cowon daps. Some of it's great sound (I believe) is their implementation of the JetAudio. If you get an Android dap from another company, you can download a version of JetAudio and get some of that great separated sound that the Cowons' have. I've compared the Hiby interface with the JetAudio one on an Android dap and the JetAudio one (for sound) is kind of a step above for what I like to hear. Just a suggestion since Cowon has shuttered up.

Yes. I believe one is free (with ads and limited capability) and the other one you would need to purchase. You can add on some in app plug-ins too that are useful.
