I was just about to order a move and they are gone. So I have to wait til february for the new replacement by Jan. I have no amp. Will using them out of my laptop and burning them in for that long harm them? I have HD595s and HF-1s. Thanks I really dont have the money to waste since I REALLY want a usb amp/dac and always wanted a meier unit. I was thinking maybe get a pa2v2 or something cheap til the new model comes out but will it really hurt my cans without one?

I cannot possibly imagine that running your headphones without an amp would harm them. Quite the opposite actually. Overpowering your headphones with a very strong amp is likely to harm them.

Let's not forget that there's an amp powering the headphone jack of your laptop. Granted, it's a fairly weak one, but it's an amp nontheless.
