Seem like the guys there say that you can't have 24 bit playback with openAL since it doesn't have a 24bit playback capability

What do you think of it guys ???

I am using foobar !
But you don't understand
It can't be done cause VISTA (or XP) don't allow it on their API
So it doesn't matter what player you are using

Anyone can comment about it ???

I do use WASAPI and set Foobar output to 24 bit. I played 24-bit audio with it too. Does that help answer your question?
