I'm looking to play around with the njm/jrc 4556ad. I hear it sounds great with grados. The only problem is so far I can only find it at mouser who want $19 to ship to Canada and newark ($12, 15 days lead time and all the problems that come with[or at least used to] newark.) Ebay is just as bad where they are selling for $3 a chip plus overseas shipping.

Unfortunately digikey, who I usually buy from doesn't stock it unless I buy 2,000 chips. So before I blow $20 on shipping, I'm wondering does anyone know of any of the smaller suppliers that sell them? Or I guess if anyone has some extras in their parts drawer send me a PM

Thanks error401, Yea those were the ones I found on ebay $8 for shipping +20 cents extra per chip from the uk.

newark is newark. I'll see if ordering from mcm directly is any better but its probably the same as newark

If only digikey had them, anyone want to go halfsies on a 2000 pack

JRC opamps blow. I got some samples and they are slow and muddy.
