Hello,
This is a first post from someone new to good portables. I’ve been lurking for a while, and with the advice I’ve found here have put together a system that sounds excellent. A general thank you to all who have provided such helpful information.
My question has to do with the Home Kit for the NJB3. I’ve connected the Home Kit to my stereo and installed the player, and all is well. But now I’m wondering whether the output to the stereo is from the line out or from the headphone jack. I’d prefer that it come from the line out, as that’s likely to provide better sound quality, but I fear it’s from the headphone jack, since you can control the volume using the infrared remote. I guess what I’m hoping is that when the IR remote function is switched off the signal comes from the line out. Does anyone know?
