At the end of all apologies, what is Cobain saying. My equipment isn't the best so I am looking for someone else to help me out.

I beleive most of the time he is saying "all in all is all we all are" with a few lines of "all alone is all we are" including the last line.

Any help would be appreciated. :p

I know for sure he says more then one thing... and the official lyric is "all in all is all we all are" and I'm pretty sure thats what he says, but he doesn't say it on every line...

Is this the unplugged version or the one from In Utero? I always heard the line "all we know is all we are". Could be wrong.

In Utero. Over on the nirvana2 forumns this disscussion has gone on for a while with no agreement, but I thought I would see what the audiophiles have to say.

Yeah, I found out for myself. I tried listening when my house was quiet and I wasn't tired. About 2/3 of the time he says:

all in all is all we all are

The other 1/3 of the time he says:

all in all is all we are

This includes both studio and live in new york.

Biggie.
