Hi guys, since Bestbuy has carried d300 on their store, they also got 10-12% promotions coupons (click this link)
Unfortunately, d300 body is sold online only. They do have d300 w/ 18-200 lens sold for $2539.99. Get a Bestbuy card and with that coupon you'll get 12% off. It's unfortunate they don't have special financing available for digital camera.

I would definitely get get a pro lens to get the most out of that body. Like the new 24-70mm would be perfect. If not buy the body alone and get a nice fast third-party lens.

Well, selling 18-200 won't be difficult and that kit for $2235.20 is a great deal,
check Amazon & B&H
but then this deal is most likely for US.

24-70 is over kill for the D300 IMO. In the first place it isn't wide enough (for me anyway), and taking a DX crop out of the centre would be a waste of it's great-across-the-whole-frame optics. The 17-55 is just fine and much, much cheaper.
