I currently own the Grado RS2i, and I want to take a step up from it, in the form of a custom IEM. I originally thought about getting the JH16 Pros, but I've now decided to go much lower, and leave my first world class experience to the LCD-2/3s I want to eventually pick up.
Question is, which JHA model is best for this? I'd be fine with the JH5s as long as they will provide enough improvement over the RS2is. If I do need to spend more than the JH5s to get clearly better sound, I'd like to hear opinions on say, JH7s vs Sleek Audio CT7. Now, I do love the RS2is sound. That being said, I don't really have a preferred sound signature, I just enjoy variety. As long as it's an improvement in soundstage, imaging, resolution, etc over the RS2i (and doesn't have a sound sig identical to it), I'll be a happy camper. Thanks for any advice.
