I felt that the base was very deep, sound was very lush and detailed, but staging was not as good as my Cowon daps for example.

I also found the U6 had a huge amount of volume and power to push, beyond what the spec sheet would indicate. That also came with a large power drain spike when using high gain.

I appreciate the feedback. I would only be using IEMs as I wouldn't want to diminish the power further from the stated 8 hours. Would you say the soundstage has better than average height and depth if not width?
