Hey all,
I'm kinda new to the high-end audio and I was hoping to purchase a new source to replace my trusty but some what lacking 5 yr old portable walkman (which i think surpassed any other portable cd player I've tried including sony's new portable cd players)
Can you make suggestions for a decent cd-player (no svcd), used, for around $150-$200 ?
Also, I was wondering if someone could explain or direct me to some basic sound info such as what "transport", and DAC is. (I know DAC stands for Dig to Analog Conv, but isn't it a DSP chip usually built into any sound device?)
