Hi all I just discovered my dad's old NAD 7020 stereo receiver and ADS L520 speakers (also a NAD tape player). Read up on the gear and seems like it's capable of producing some pretty good sound - any recommendations on getting it all set up properly for a newbie like myself? For example, do I need another amp? Should I buy new cables to connect the speakers? Most of my music is either CDs or higher quality ogg files ripped from CD. Haven't really gotten into vinyl yet and have just a select few tapes. Appreciate any comments! --B

The receiver will power those speakers just fine, no need to buy another amp. Just get some 16 gauge speaker wire to hook up the speakers and some stereo RCA cables and hook the receiver up to your source (ie, computer, CD player, tv).
