Hi
I've recently been looking into a speaker set up and after reading many reviews, the Paradigm Atom v.5 seems to be the best choice within my budget.. But I don't know anything about speaker setups All I know is headphones. I'm using an Audinst HUD MX-1 as a USB DAC, what do I need to get these speakers to work and what would I need to do and what else would I need to buy?

good choice... you'll need a speaker amplifier (buy used for best value). you'll also need a pair of analogue interconnects (to connect the amp to the dac), and a pair of speaker cables (to connect amp to speakers). that's it.

my choice would be the Yamaha S-500, but that's probably over the budget. a used Onkyo A9555 would be good, or any used 2-channel amp with at least 50W into 8ohms - just to be safe.
