Can someone advise what the difference is between your normal Stereo Amp and a Headphone amp? I have a NAIM SNAPs, NAC42 and NAP110 combo and was wondering if it could be rigged for Headphone amp use? If this is not a practical option I'll look at trading or consignment and use the funds for a Headphone amp.

Thanks ahead of time for your help!

Normal stereo amps provide much more power output than headphone amps. I doubt that this amplifier could be made into a headphone amp realistically. A headphone jack may be able to be put into the amp, but I think that might be more trouble than it would be worth. =P

A dedicated heaphone amp is specifically tailored to headphones (hence the "dedicated"). A stereo amp, can be used, but usually the sound isn't too great with phones. (there are exceptions of course) yeah, and the power thing . . .

******BOOM!!!!*******

(just kidding)
