Hello

I am new to DIY so I wanted to start easy so I bought the JDS kit.
I built it and it didn't work well.
The problem is when I connect it to my mp3 player ( Sansa clip+) the sound was completely Distorted and clamping, but when I connected it to my computer the sound was ok but still clamping even in low volume, and I don't now what is the problem?
I will like some advice who to fix it and what is origin.

Buy a set of 45* cutters and use them. Your leads are far too long and sloppy.

I now I left them like that for an easy to remove the part if need to
There are no Shorts

i follow the  troubleshooting guide and my GND1 is only 2,5V on a 9V laboratory power supply
