Hi friends,

I read the forum regularly but I signed up because I need help; I have to clarify first that I am an amateur audiophile and my knowledge is minimal, although I am learning to enjoy the music I like as much as possible, taking into account my budget limitations, of course!
Last Christmas my brother gave me a Hiby R4 to listen to my music, so taking advantage of the moment I bought myself a Moondrop Kadenz IEM's.

I have played around a bit with the R4 settings, with the autoeq via squig.link, plugins like DRX10K, Convolution, etc... and the sound I get without much effort is really good. However, no matter what configuration I put on, I basically don't get excessively loud audio, I'm at a volume level of 77 or 80 and I can't even hear the music at a medium-high level. I'm not an expert as I say but it seems to me a very low volume to have it at 80.
The only thing that improves the volume power is changing the Gain from Low to Middle or activating the HibyMusic equalizer and turning up the amp a little.
But this could increase the power but reduce the quality and clarity of the sound, right?

The music I listen to I think is of quality, most are FLAC files of 44100 Hz and about 800 900 kbps...

What can I do? Any suggestions? I have an Ibasso DC03 around that I could use, but I find it a bit strange because the Hiby already has a DAC, I think.
If someone could guide me... I know that the Kadenz are not the best earphones in the world but I would like to adapt them to the R4 as much as possible.

Thanks for your comments and sorry for the inconvenience! :relaxed:

You're using the Kadenz with the 4.4 output from the R4?
