I have a Shure 535 red limited edition using iPhone 4s as source. Will the SQ benefit enough especially bass using a portable amp? How is the iBasso T5 with this setup? Portability is critical to me. Thanks for any advice.

An amp alone won't increase sound quality as far as I know it, just the volume and the sound clarity. I got a Pico Slim hooked up with my SE535-CL and it's a wonderful setup.
