Hi,
I am planning to buy either the HD 650, HD600 or Beyerdynamic DT880. I have hear many good reports on these but I would perhaps like a more simple recommendation on these to narrow them down. I heard the HD600 at a local music store and was very impressed. I tend to listen to Soundtracks, Classical, Jazz and some Pop. I also write Film music using Roland Synths, Yamaha Motif Rack and Digital Performer. So, which one out of these would be good for mixing? I also tend to like some punch in the Bass, pronounce clear midrange (French Horns belching out) and sweet/warm high ends. This probably fits many headphones but I just want to narrow it down to these. I currently have an old NAD 7155 receiver and a Rotel RCD 975. At some time I will probably upgrade. Any info would help. Thanks
