Didn't know where to post this, but after I searched I found this forum, so I hope I get answers.

Anyways, right now I'm going for the Sansa Clip Zip, any other suggestions would be nice.

I have the ATH-M-30's btw.

Another question. I want to get the great sound, what is the things I see attatched to MP3 players? For example: http://www.head-fi.org/content/type/61/id/708239/ What is that? I'm new to this area of technology.

Thanks!

I'm stupid. :| So, what exactly does it do? Does it improve sound? Is this one good: http://www.amazon.com/FiiO-E6-Portable-Headphone-Amplifier/dp/B005HJWWW8/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1363899442&sr=1-2

Again, I'm new to audio tech. Trying to get into it because my new job lets me listen to music, but I can't use anything with a camera, sadly.

It simply amplifies the volume, sound quality may improve with some decent amps... maybe.

Yeah, get yourself a Sansa Clip Zip and if you really feel you need more volume (depends on your headphones) the you could look at getting an Amp for it.  The C&C BH amp is very popular on here and said to be very good value (See the portable amp section)

One more question. Is the Clip Zip good enough for me? It looks too cheap to be good. I mean $40. Lol. I care about sound quality more than anything. Just making sure before I buy it.

Yes, its cheap but it also RMA's very well, a real bargain.

People love the clip because...

"it's cheap, it has low out put impedance which means it pairs well with iem's, it has a micro SD card slot for extra music storage space... and you can Rockbox it."

You are welcome..

The Zip is a decent budget player but If you have a larger budget and would rather get something much more capable that is unlikely to need an amp check out the Fiio X3 that due for release soon. That looks to be my next buy..
