There's a new metal interconnect from Van den Hul called the Integration. Reviewed in this quarter's Ultra High Fidelity Magazine.

They say it beats the Second, and costs CA$350/US$250 for 1m pair.

Sounds intriguing, especially the part where they drop the temperature at a rate of 1000 degrees C...no, wait, that's 1,000,000 degrees C / second...creating something free from crystalline boundaries...

The whole point of the VDH other leading cables (the First, The First ultimate) is that they are free from metal, made of carbon only. The integration is the new cable and I know someone has one and got his S/H for £70/$100 and he says it's not as good as hid Chord Chorus.

i have never directly compared the 2, and i have no inclination to compare.
started with the chord and vdh db102mk3, then swapped the lesser vdh for the integration. brought a little more depth etc, but not as much difference as upgrading the cdp i/c in the 1st place.
