I just bought a pair of UM2's after trying (and loving) a pair of SF5's. They sound great, but after some in-depth listening I've noiced that my right pair has a slight buzz when harsh highs are in the music. Chris Cornell's "No Such Thing" does so if the volume is past 50% on my 160 G iPod Classic.

Is this normal, and just normal thing to deal with with the UM2's? Should I exchange them?

maybe its a mp3 problem. try to use a diff mp3 file and a diff player.

i would listen to many different songs before you go and buy new equipment. my um2 only buzzed when the source buzzed or was poorly recorded or recorded to buzz. many recordings out there are quite rubbish

I think it's more a poor recording that the UM2's are picking up.

Garbage in garbage out!

Give the UM2 a perfect recording you will get perfect sound

hey boclown could you make a little comparison between the UM2 vs. SF5's? That would be greatly appreciated
