I just picked up a Technics SL-D202 on ebay and I will be needing a fresh cartridge to go with it. Only problem is that I know nothing about them and I have no idea where to start. I would like to keep the price under 50 dollars though.

If you absolutely had to stay under $50, I would probably go with the AT95E but I would spend a little more and go with the AT120E. Its a better cartridge with a much better nude stylus and well worth the extra money. One of the often recommended giant killers.
