I recently got into the world of DAPs like the title mentions. Bought a used SR25 off ebay and it was perfect when it arrived - still with box (the box was opened, no sort of plastic wrap around the outside), quick start manual, screen protectors, even the little cover thing for the microusb port was in there. Felt like it was new. However, after a few days, cracks appeared under the screen. As I'm new, I'm not allowed to post images, but I'll do my best to explain. They aren't the kind of cracks you get from dropping a phone, and they're more deep. While a crack you get from dropping a phone is thin, these are maybe about as thick as the markings along a ruler or tape measure. They all stem from the right middle side of the player, and there are 4 different cracks that are all disconnected from one another that go at most a little less than a quarter of an inch towards the center of the screen. If it helps, I keep the player in a case (the pelican 1010, if that information is any use). The player doesn't fit perfectly inside and sits on top of the rubber insert inside the case, with the leather case for my earbuds below it. I don't think this would be the cause for any damages; the fit is quite tight but it is only tight against the fabric of the earbuds case, against the top plastic part of the case it isn't that bad. I have had my screen facing down so that would mean the screen is pressing against the fabric of the earbud case. The other factor that might be a cause for concern is temperature. Being that I live in michigan and the temperatures have been in the single digits (of farenheit) it's been quite cold. I leave the player mostly in the case I have indoors but it feels quite cold every time I take it out of the case.

If anyone has any ideas about what the cause for these cracks could be, whether they are dangerous and could keep spreading, or if I should be posting this in a different forum (I had no idea where to look for people who would know stuff specifically about DAPs, and this is the only place I know of), that would be great!
