Sorry I'm a bit of a noob to the stax thing... But I ordered the srs2050ll.
 
Am I correct in saying you can just plug these into a usa outlet?..... I'm in Florida.... I think the srs 2050a ver. you need some type of stepdown voltage box... Do I need a stepdown or any type of converter for the srs 2050ll?

If you bought it from Japan you will need a step down transformer. If it was purchased in US it should be fine

I thought the 2050a represented the 'japan' model & the 2050ll represented the usa model?

if they are USA I would think your ok. All Japan stuff is 100V and people need transformer. But if made for US market it will work

just get a new regulated wall wart if your one isn't US. There's a topic or two on this already. Then you won't have to have an extra ugly transformer box that puts out heat and maybe buzzing

If it's from Yama, it should be the US voltage version.
 
Check the voltage on the wall wart. It should read the same as this:
